Lighthouse Arts & Craft show opens to large audience

Friday, August 17th kicked off the 2018 Lighthouse Arts & Craft show with a large number of people showing up for the opening night. Medway Head Lighthouse Society president Donald Allan greeted everyone, including Mayor David Dagley. Allan noted that this year's show featured 80 artists and crafters and included Seely Hall as well for craft works.

The hours are from 11:00 a.m until 3 pm, and as a special treat, Medway Head Lighthouse will also be open during the same hours. It features some elements from the bi-annual History Show and is a great chance to see the interior of a typical 'pepper pot' lighthouse.
